Alpha Delta Pi created a brand new philanthropy this year nicknamed the “Diamond Dude” competion. The event is a series of fundrasing challages followed by a talent show and vote. WA Alpha’s Max Warnke sealed the victory after a beautiful cover of George Michael’s “Careless Whisper” on the saxophone.
“It was my way to shed light on a popular charity in the best way possible,” Max Warnke said. “Music is something that brings everyone together.”
Fellow MC ’19 Eddy Rohosy – lead guitarist of popular local Pullman band Street Couch – accompanied Max on guitar.
The philanthropy benefited the Ronald McDonald House Charity in downtown Spokane’s Sacred Heart Hospital.
