In accordance with the Interfraternity Council’s Development Initiative – a reponse to recent event in the community – Vice President of Programming Connor Rath set up an interactieve workshop for the chapter to learn of risks associated with alcohol.
“The program gave us tangible knowledge on how we can improve saftey within our own chapter, and as a community as well,” Brother Aaron Croom said.
The programming event was a requirement to be in good standing with the university after an IFC council decison; however, Rath had already planned the programming in advance. The interactive presentation lasted about an hour hosting honest dialogue about our community and steps to improve – starting with ourselves.
After taking role, 83 percent of active brothers were in attendance for the presentation hosted by Cougar Health Services.
