WA Alpha senior Keegan Otter received the Frank J. Ruck Leadership Award at the Carlson Leadership Academy in Los Angeles.
Otter served on WA Alpha’s 2017 Executive Board as the vice president of programming; though, his impact at Washington State and the city Pullman is sewn deep into the fabric of several other organizations, groups, and businesses within our community .
Otter is currently serving Washington State as the ASWSU director of community affairs.
“Otter is the most persistent an diligent worker I know. His pursuit of excellence has become infectious to underclassmen within our chapter,” sophomore Skyler Cannon said.
The Ruck Leadership Award is presented each year at Carlson to a chapter or individual who shows outstanding campus or community leadership and makes significant positive changes on their campus and community.
WA Alpha last won this award in 2013. Otter was the award’s only recipient at CLA Los Angeles this year.
